2010 TOUR PROGRAMME
Our tour programme runs during the 4 month period starting in May through to the end of August.
We specialise in running tours aimed at giving riders a broad flavour of Scotland. Our tours are named
'TASTE of SCOTLAND' and differ from the more conventional 'touring' theme in that we
stay in a base location for the week and explore a different region of Scotland each day.
Our base is near Linlithgow, which is a vibrant historic town a short distance
from Edinburgh. It is ideally located in Scotland's central belt and allows for daily excursions to other
Scottish regions in all directions, north, south, east or west. Tour runs to explore areas including Borders,
Galloway, Lothian, Strathclyde, Argyll, Perthshire, Tayside, Cairngorms and more, are easily reachable from
base camp.
A Winning Formula
We feel that our 'Taste of Scotland' tour format is one of the best ways of
discovering the wide variety of roads and scenery offered in Scotland.
Our series of day tours give you a much better perspective of the Scottish countryside and more varied riding.
It is suitable for riders of all experiences offering superb biking roads and, if you're new to it, an exceptional
introduction to motorcycle touring.
Key to this winning format is the fact that the week's programme has built-in flexibility. If the weather
forecast in one region is better than another then that day's route can be swapped to take best advantage (rest
assured, in Scotland the weather can change substantially between areas so why get wet if you don't need to!).
Similarly, if the group wants to increase or decrease daily mileages the routes can easily be altered, or indeed
changed completely if there are specific areas or attractions which you want to explore.
Retaining a base for the week is more comfortable - no loading the bike with luggage every day. After a
memorable day in the saddle you return to base to freshen-up before being taken to enjoy your evening meal in one
of the local 'eateries' or in the 'Big City' Edinburgh.
You're with us to enjoy touring by motorbike but we never forget that you're also on holiday!
