Hi, my name is Matt McElroy and I would like to welcome you to the website. I hope you will find it both interesting and informative enough to convince you to choose your touring holiday with Motorcycle Tours Scotland.

I run and organise all the tours offered by Motorcycle Tours Scotland. I'm passionate about riding motorcycles, something which I’ve been doing now for too many years to mention. During this time I've toured extensively both at home in Scotland and abroad.

Over the years I’ve had quite a variety of bikes, including sport bikes (bit uncomfortable), sports tourers (good all-rounders), big traillies (comfy but a bit agricultural), large ‘uber-tourers’ (very comfy but seriously heavy), to my current pride and joy - a Kawasaki ZZR1400 (which has taken me over the Alps and Picos Mountain regions in the last few years, absolutely effortlessly).

Having spent so much time enjoying exploring by bike, I decided to share my experiences and setup Motorcycle Tours Scotland. My aim is to provide you with a value-for-money biking holiday experience, which will bring you back riding with us again and again.
